The sauce derives its robust flavor from premium ingredients such as Japanese sake, mirin (rice wine), shiitake mushroom, fresh roasted onion and green onion, with hint of wasabi, ginger and garlic. A hint of wasabi leaves refreshing after taste without adding any significant heat. Roasted and hand-pureed onion and green onion add a thick, silky consistency to the sauce so it can be used as a finishing sauce as well as basting or marinade. After tasting this sauce, you can’t go back to ordinary steak sauce!
